man, use the openbox share, it work perfect;y and no bugs, but you need to have any working server

Hello mangy, once you get used to openboxshare try using mpcs, this is a good program if you want to share many providers as you can configure them all and are not limited to only four as with openboxshare.. The link emirim gives has a link to %%%%%%, this is the server i'm using at the moment and works well, try there 3 day test..

Hi,i am trying to use openboxshare first with the help of emirim.ive had to order more rs232 cables to connect my pc to openbox as they are not in the same room.once i have done this i with let you know how it goes.

Hello mangy, remember that if you add more serial cable only one of them needs to be a null serial cable, the other should be a normal cable. If you put two null cables together it will cross the wires back to how they were originally. Thought this might help as it is a mistake i have made

In other words, the number of your null modem cables should be odd.

You might as well just order a longer cable from ebay or build one yourself.

You dont need sharing for Premire at the moment. It works AU on the latest Openbox softs 5.32 and 5.33.

Mangy maybe you could post your settings so we can see what your doing, i had nova working with these settings on that server. I have changed server now so can't say if it's working now or not.. Don't give ip or password ete..

Hi mangy, i am using these same settings now and watching nova supersport, i don,t understand why this will not work for you. The only difference is i have these set like this


InactivityTimeOut = 30

I don't think this should make much diference

Try ident like this: ident=0604:000000,000001,000002,000003
